The WPS announced its 2011 playoff format on Tuesday. The playoff bracket comes as no surprise to the WPS community as it’s the same format as in the preference seasons, giving the first place team two byes and home field for the WPS Championship. Also, take note of the logo in the below image from the WPS official website, it’s no longer maroon and gold, but maroon and silver.
